Paris Hilton is reportedly spending new Year’s Eve in Sydney this year. Launch Management Gropu publicist Antonia O’Neill said advertising man John Singleton has secured Hilton’s services to choose the face of his new beer. Organisers are confident Hilton will show on new year’s day to select a bikni babe to be the face beer, after spending the night enjoying New Year’s fun in Emerald city. “We will be taking good care of her on New Year’s eve, Ms O’Neill Said. “We are sure sydney’s hottest parties will want to let us know what they have planned to see if the world’s biggest party girl will want to attend,” Ms O’Neill added. The hotel heiress is due in sydney on today, the same day that 40 finalists will be chosen at Sydney’s Hilton Hotel by Mr Singleton and pro-surfer Koby Abberton. “We only found out she was coming only last week,” an Australian website quoted Ms O’Neill, as saying. The actress, now famous for a variety pf roles on the big and small screens last week was named the most popular web search for 2006.

Though the lists are quite extensive, but wish common to them all is a stay at a hotel of their choice and the usual suspects of Jimmy Choo Goodies, make-up kits and exclusive electrical items. There are though a couple of star moving away from the norm - english actor Jude law is planning to spend christmas with his family in south africa, and as a present he wants his family and friends to gift him only a new pair of socks. Chatlie’s angels star Cameron Diaz, who has told her family not to gift her anything for Christmas, as she thinks she has got everything she needs already.

Hilary’s roles often put her health at risk

Actress Hilary Swank admits that when it comes to getting into the character, she will go to such extreme lengths that she once ended up seriously risking her health. The acress, who has taken home best actress Oscars for her performances in Boys Don’t Cry and Million Dollar Baby, insists that if she believes in a particuler role, she will go the distance, no matter what it takes. “if I believe in a role, and in story, I will do what I need to make it believable and to make it work,” a website quoted her, as saying. Her dedication, Swank admits, can sometimes cause a serious problem for her health. “I have some problems with elevated mercury in my system. I wasn’t eating meat when i was filming Million Dollar baby but had to put on 19 punds of muscle. So I ate a lot of fish. And for Boys don’t cry, I went down to seven per cent body fat. In Black Dahlia, when my character dies. I hot my arm on an old-fashioned ironing board, and I have a scar from that,” she revealed. However, Swank is extremly proud of her “battle scars”, and insists that she wouldn’t want to her life any other way. “But how great to have that. That’s what life is - you want to get in three and play hard. The battle scars are a reminder that you are alive and human and that tou bleed,” she said.

Tara Conner no longer Miss USA

Reigning Miss USA, Tara Conner, has been ordered to move out of her Trump luxury apartment and back to her native Kentucky after testing positive for cocaine and sluting arround town. The results of her drug test come after rumors of drug use left officials no choice but to order Tara Conner to take a drug test. Also, Tara Conner has been seen making out with current Miss Teen USA, Katie Blair, in public and she reportedly sneaked different men into her apartment at night on a routine basis. A source says:

“Tara was a party animal…I’ve seen them kiss before. They always dance all sexy on the tables. … They definitely get close.”

A less sexy source said:

Paris and Britney no longer Friends!

In a recent blog entry on Paris Hilton’s MySpace site, Paris Hilton defended her friend Britney Spears, claiming that the former teen queen deserved a little fun. Paris writes:

“Anyone who has called her out on this should really be ashamed. There are thousands of mothers out there who like to go out and have a good time. But, you do not see people out there calling them ‘bad parents.’ She’s young, and if she wants to go out and have some fun, let her.”

Now, since Britney has basically disowned Paris, the blog entry has magically disappeared and her representative Elliot Mintz, is now saying it was never there!

“Paris did not write it. She does not have a MySpace account.”
