The staunch animal rights activist has said that she was stunned to learn that the Ugg shoes that she loved to wear during the smash hit show’s days, were made of real animal hide. “I am getting rid of our Uggs - I feel so guilty for that craze being started around baywatch days. I used to wear them with my red swimsuit to keep warm - never realising that they were skin. I thought they were shaved kindly?” a websites quoted her as saying. Pamela anderson added that she felt guilty to hear from people that she started the fad and that she is now telling people not to buy them.

jennifer lopez soon to be a part of American Idol

Latino diva jennifer lopez is the latest star to sign on to appear on the US hit reality competition American Idol. The singer is following in the footsteps of Prince and Mary J Bilge and will appear on the sixth season fo the show on 11 April. According to an American publication, Anthony could also be joining his wife on the show. “It was Jennifer and Marc who approached American Idol, not the other way around,” a source was quoted by a website, as saying.

Scarlett johansson gets set for a de-glam nanny’s role

Scarlett johansson’s fans who are used to seeing the actress looking her best on screen, will now get to see a ‘de-sexified’ side of her in her latest movie. The 22 year old, who plays a student working as a nanny as she puts herself through college, decided that she had to look the part. Co-director Robert Pulcibi revealed that though he and Shari Springer Berman were apprehensive of approaching Johansson because of all her flamour, they had been in for a pleasant surprise. “We thought about how we would approach Scarlett because is very glamourous, but she’s the who said, ‘I really think I should have brown hair and look like an everyday college girl in this movie,’” a website quoted him, as saying. “It is a story of girl finding her indentity. She’s quite confused about what kind of future she would choose and tries to deal with other people’s problems,” Pulcini added. The Nanny Diaries is based on the novel of the same by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus.

ParisExposed Temporarily Shut Down

Last friday (02 feb 2007) a Los Angeles federal judge ordered the ParisExposed.com web site to be temporarily shut down. ParisExposed.com, which launched on 23 January 2007, allowed visitors to see Paris Hilton’s personal diaries, home videos, financial information and medical records for a monthly fee (think it was around $40/month). According to her lawyer, HOWARD WEITZMAN, “The site violated my client’s right to privacy and was a copyright infringement”. The owner of the site, BARDIA PERSA, has a chance on 16 February 2007 to object the order. He can either do it in writing or orally in court. If he doesn’t show, or the judge isn’t convinced, the order can turn into a permanent term. Persa bought a storage bin full of Hilton’s belongings for a reported $10 million (GBP5.25 million) from a third party after the storage bill went unpaid and the company auctioned her possessions off for $2775 (GBP1,500).

Did Olivier Martinez cheat on Kylie Minogue?

Kylie Minogue can look back at 2006 with a smile. She was able to pick up where she left of. She was performing and singing in her Showgirl Tour and heard the good news about her breast cancer being in remission. Olivier Martinez, her boyfriend and actor, has stood by her all the time.
But now it seems as if the three year lasting fairy tale is about to end.

During a separation of the two last weeks, it seems that Martinez has been unfaithful and has cheated on Kylie with another woman. Olivier stayed in Los Angeles, while Kylie was finishing her Homecoming tour in London. Rumors tell us that Olivier had a date with Sarai Givati, model, at Chateau Marmont. Sarai didn’t come out of the suite of Martinez for ninety minutes. Givati and Martinez are no strangers to each other, they have spent at least three days together in Paris last year.

Martinez also has a connection with Michelle Rodriguez, actress, with whom he had dinner the day after meeting up with Sarai Givati. Rodriguez seemed to have a lot of fun in the company of Martinez, although she has been going out with her co-star Kristanna Loken (Bloodrayne).

The reason for all this cheating in public, is that Olivier hopes that Kylie will get enough of it and end their relationship. He confided to a friend that he feels he can’t break up with Kylie so soon after her being so sick. He hopes she will put it all to an end. He can’t end the relationship himself, because he would feel too guilty.

Even though all his mistakes and cheating, Kylie just cannot end the relationship. Failure is not a word in her dictionary and she won’t be able to cope with loosing Olivier. She finds the idea of starting all over again simply impossible. Let’s hope 2007 will also be a beautiful year for Kylie.
