Britney Spears says no to her Lauper Tour

The troubled pop diva Britney Spears has refused to do a concert with Cyndi Lauper, the 54 year old Grammy award winner singer. The reason being Britney does not want to sing live. It was decided that Britney would perform at the True Colors tour in Los Angeles on Saturday i.e. June 30, 2007 with Erasure, Deobrah Harry, the Dresden Dolls and the MisShapes with Jeffree Star. But the Toxic star pulled back towards the execution of the plan because she was not given the permission to mime.

A source told the British newspaper The Sun that Britney said she would only lip-sync but to work with Cyndi, you have to perform.

However, Britney had not given her consent right from the beginning for the tor. It was only lately that Brits choreographer Misha Gabriel told the people.com that the troubled star would also perform one song at the Geek Theatre gig.

Paris Hilton - I have never been an addict

The star socialite has lied on the first post prison interview with Larry King. Paris Hilton says a big NO to drug addiction. Speaking just one day after her release from jail in California, Hilton says that she had never been addicted to drugs. Perhaps she has learnt to lie quite nicely in these 23 days behind the bars. Because the site somkinggun.com showcases a video footage of Hilton talking about smoking pot, taking magic mushrooms and smoking hash in Amsterdam coffee shop. The heiress can also be seen conversing on smuggling drugs from The Netherlands to the US. In one of the segments, Paris’s sister Nicky asks Paris “do you have herb?” Paris replies, “Yeah, the best pot. You wanna smoke pot? I have the best pot. I have the best pot.” Paris then also offers her pot to one of her friends saying, “Dude, we’re smoking pot if you guys want to smoke.”

Federline pisses Britney Spears

The American rapper hubby of the pop diva Britney Spears is pissing her with his demands. It is heard that Kevin and Britney are not yet divorced. According to TMZ.com, Federline has disagreed to give his approval and refused to sign the property settlement agreement because he wants a proof that Britney can handle the joint custody of the kids. But TMZ.com also says that Britney and Federline had decided to have a 50-50 deal where both of them have the kids for the half time. So speculations are rife that Federline is planning to play a money game this time. Let’s wait and watch the rest.

Yes, you heard it right Paris Hilton is in the Howard University, not physically but in discussion. The heiress became a punchline during the last night’s Democratic presidential debate at Howard University. The Sen, Chris Dodd went on and on with one of his answers in which he time and again made references to the star socialite. But the debate moderator Tavis Smiley decided to interrupt Chris in between and reminded him that if he were Paris Hilton, he would have been awarded an hour to speak. But since he is not, he should cut down upon his Hilton dominated answer. Tavis jokingly said Were you Paris Hilton, you can have an hour. But you are not.

Released Paris will follow the law

In THE interview with Larry King, which was held on Thursday the 28th of June, Paris revealed her true self. She told Larry that she has never been on drugs and is not a big drinker. She feels that her incarceration was not deserved, however, she knows to appreciate the things she experienced in jail. Asked about what she did during her time behind the bars, she answered it was a good time for getting to know herself better. Being away from the flashlights for a while really sounds like a relief for Paris, and perhaps it has helped her to make the decision to eliminate all bad elements out of her new life. That means she has to give up a lot of friendships (understandably, she didnt give out any names) and probably a bunch of bad habits as well. She also promised to follow the law from now on.
During her 23 days in jail, Paris read fan mail, meditated, wrote in her journal and even read the Bible. In the first days, she suffered from claustrophobia, which was the reason why she was sent home by a medical doctor. Because the judges did not agree with the doctor’s decision, Paris was sent back to jail again, which forced her to overcome her panic attacks. It must have been a bad experience for her in may ways, but she remains positive:

“I don’t know. Even though I hate it, I’m glad it happened in a way because this really changed my life forever, and I feel stronger than ever.”

Well Paris, we hope youre happy with your regained freedom! We are certainly happy to have you back!! Not much news when you were in jail, so let’s get it on¦.

Paris Hilton out of Jail!

Paris Hilton walked out of a Los Angeles County jail smiling after serving 23 days of her 45-day sentence.
Paris was released after 22 days, which includes a day she spent under house arrest. The original 45-day sentence set by the judge was effectively cut in half for good behaviour. Hilton was released from jail about 12.15am (5.15pm AEST) and walked alone down a walkway lined with photographers.

She made no statement but smiled broadly before joining her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, in their waiting sports utility vehicle.

Paris Hilton’s silent life

Soon after Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days
of imprisonment because of driving with a suspended
license, speculations regarding her life in prison
have commenced. Though there is still a chance that
the time of her punishment may be reduced to just 21
days yet for some days Hilton will have to lead a
simple and sober life. The hotel heiress who takes
pride in wearing expensive and short dresses will have
to stay in an orange jumpsuit for several days. In the
jail there will be no branded clothes, good food,
toiletries and other luxurious amenities Hilton has
been enjoying till now.

According to Hilton, her parents, her attorney and her
PR team, Hilton has been a victim of selective
prosecution. Some fans of her also want that Hilton
should be exempted from going to jail because she
provides beauty and excitement to (most of) our other
wise mundane lives.
