Loading ...The well known mother of the troubled pop diva Britney Spears is turning into an author. Lynne Spears has made up her mind to write a book on parenting. Initially it was said that Britney will be spilling the beans of her daughter’s life but that didnt turn out to be the case. The 52 year old Lynne will discuss her skills as a mother and nothing apart from that, maintains the Christian publisher Thomas Nelson.
A spokesperson for Thomas Nelson confirms that We have signed her to a deal. It’s a parenting book that’s going to have faith elements to it. I don’t think it’s totally written yet.
Lynne has named her creation as “Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World. The book has been touted as Lynne Spears personal story of raising high profile children while coming from a low profile Louisiana community.
Lynne perhaps was instigated to choose this topic by the tremendous criticism she has faced in last few years on her parenting. Recently the U.S comedienne Roseanne Barr had flaked Lynne for not putting an end to Britney’s partying habit.
Some time back Britney had stopped talking to her mom and maintained a distance from her. But as of now the mother and the daughter have reconciled and stand together in the custody battle of Britney’s kids.
The book will be released in May 2008.
