American actress Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to a 90 days imprisonment on Tuesday, because of conditional release term violation. We all remember that LiLo was arrested in 2007 for driving under alcohol influence and cocaine possession.
The judge Marsha Revel from Supreme Court, Beverly Hills ordered that Lindsay must turn herself in on July 20 to overcome her sentence in a Los Angeles jail.
After the sentence was declared, Miss Lohan pleaded mercy for one minute and started to cry saying that there isn’t her fault that she couldn’t attend all her alcohol education classes because of her work. Still Marsha Revel was passionless and repeated the sentence once more. Lohan begged at least to remove her alcohol sensor circlet that she has attached to one of her legs, but the request was denied.
Even though there was declared a 90 days detention, Los Angeles Sheriff’s spokesperson Steve Whitmore said that Lindsay is a non-violent person and the jail is crowded so there is a chance for our star to spend only 25% of her sentence imprisoned, about 23 days.
We really hope that Lindsay will be fine and will reconsider her behavior after this short-term incarceration.
